Georgian Power holds memorial march for the victims of communist aggression

On April 9, 1989, at least twenty people were tragically killed as Soviet troops attacked peaceful protesters in Tbilisi.
27 years later to the day on April 9 2016,  Georgian nationalists organized by the autonomous nationalist group “Georgian Power” held an anti-communist demonstration in front of the parliament building in Tbilisi, as well as an April 9th memorial, which was welcomed warmly by the public, happy to see tribute payed to the martyrs of the Georgian nation. The Tbilisi University news was on hand to give an interview to the nationalists.
